Next week we will be hearing from Art Hirsch from the Michigan Microplastics Coalition. He will discuss various microplastic types, sources, impacts, legislation and mitigation actions.
Rotary Charities is now accepting applications to serve a 3-year term on the Board of Trustees.
Any Rotarian who has been a member of, and active in the club for five years and is currently in good standing may apply. The monthly time commitment is approximately 5-15 hours, which includes a monthly 2-hour board meeting, and additional time dependent on role for committees, task forces, and grant review meetings.
• Applications are due by September 4, 2026.
• The election will take place at the annual meeting of Rotary Charities at our Club meeting on September 25, 2026. (4th Tuesday)
• Terms will begin October 2026 and end September of 2029.
