(well hopefully after this snowstorm) Captain's Quarters is getting a new hire within the rotary family. There are some fantastic pieces at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, and another Miniverini is going into Historic Renovation.

Beth Melcher geared us up for the wine swap that will take place at the Gala. Members can bring bottles to donate at any meeting leading up to the Gala, just look out for the wine hats.
Carla Weaver is so impressed with our exchange students who are partaking in the CHS musical Into the Woods. The shows to see will be on April 21st and April 29th. More details to come.
Laurie Lapp announced the opening of the Administration position to allow for some internal Club recommendations. The position is for 25 - 30 hrs a week for $20-$23. The personnel committee will make a public post on April 4th. Please contact Laurie Lapp or Andy Robitshek if you have questions.
John Roddy mentioned a wonderful opportunity for service to aid IPR by manning phones for their pledge drive on April 15th. More details are below but there will be cake.
Our program speaker was introduced by Steve Wade. Our very own Rotarian Trevor Tkach, the president of TC Tourism, presented the many ways they are promoting and collaborating our community into a true 4 season destination. This ideally spreads the demand over the entire year and drives commerce to keep the little shops open. TravelMI or PureMI always aims to respect - connect - celebrate our beautiful area and community.
Volunteers are needed to answer the phones for Interlochen Public Radio's upcoming Fundraising drive on Saturday, April 15 from 9 am - 1 pm.
Must be comfortable chatting with strangers on the phone, and have computer skills enough to make an online payment and navigate a website. If you have never volunteered for Interlochen Center for the Arts before you will be required to submit an application and be reviewed (in keeping with our licensing as an educational facility).

Traverse City is hosting the District 6290 Outbound Conference on April 21st. We need homes for 16 kids for a night. They would need a place to sleep, breakfast in the morning, and then a ride to NMC. Please reach out to Carla Weaver if you'd like to be part of their Rotary send-off.
