Open House Set to Celebrate Camp Greilick
Grand Traverse County’s Newest Park

Friday, May 8th 4 pm to 6 pm

Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation is pleased to welcome the community to celebrate the newest County Park, Camp Greilick.

The purchase of the Camp Greilick property was completed in 2024 and subsequently opened to the public in December 2025. The 196-acre property holds a long and storied history as a youth camp beginning in the 1920s and as a Boy Scout camp from 1955 to 2015.

Guests at the event will have the opportunity to experience a park tour and try the Human Foosball court, Orienteering course, and Disc Golf course at the Grand Opening event.

The event will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, between 4:00-6:00 pm at Camp
Greilick (4754 Scout Camp Road, enter from Hobbs Highway).
