East Creek Reserve
Stewardship and Recreation
In 1993, Howard Edwards, in loving memory of his wife, Mary Edwards, bequeathed property in the Boardman River Valley to Rotary Camps & Services. The 560 acres is now known as East Creek Reserve and is managed by the Grand Traverse Conservation District.
Rotarians have worked to improve the habitat and trail system at the East Creek Reserve, and the public is invited to enjoy the beauty of this Boardman River Watershed Property.
A conservation easement was placed on the property with the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, and the property is managed for public use by the Grand Traverse Conservation District.
